JHC New Media is the website of Jorge Hernández Cerda, sociologist and Master in Interactive Systems.

During my first years of work I was related to the big companies world, being Project Manager of Santander Group Chile. There, I managed digital communication projects such as the development of Intranets. After that, I was webmaster of Universia.cl and co-performer of Virtual Dance, one of the first Net.art works sponsored by the Chilean Government Arts Fund. I have developed varied online and multimedia initiatives and given several lectures in the field of New Media. .

In this website I want to show the different projects I'm involved in, as well as offering a contents node for the national and international new media platform.

JHC New Media, as its logo suggests, refers to two things: convergent, structural and algorithmic thinking, as well as a divergent, creative and sensitive one.
